Gary Sorensen has been the radio host of his weekly travel show “Travel Talk” for years and is thrilled to have his show on KHQN here in Provo. He enjoys taking calls from listeners asking all kinds of travel questions. His most memorable show was broadcast from the Klondike train station in Skagway, Alaska while he was on an Alaskan cruise. Gary holds the highest Travel Agent designations of Certified Travel Consultant, Certified Travel Associate and Destination Specialist from the highly acclaimed Travel Institute.  

Gary also loves to write about travel. He has been published over 250 times in newspapers, magazines and online. Locally he has been published in both the Deseret News and The Provo Herald.

Gary has loved to travel all of his life and has visited over 35 countries from Russia to Fiji and from Alaska to Argentina. When Gary isn’t talking on the radio or writing about great places to go, he organizes and leads tour groups both locally and internationally. Gary often speaks to groups about travel destinations, airline policies, cruising and he also designs custom group tours.

Gary has worked in the travel industry for over 25 years and absolutely loves it. He and his wife Lori have three boys that they have enjoyed taking to see other countries, cultures and wonderful sites. Gary is currently a Regional Manager with Morris Murdock Travel managing offices in Utah and Montana.
